Berele has been working since 1999 on a number of projects for Clal insurance.
Clal is the second largest insurant company in Israel, and part of one of the largest groups in the Israeli market. Client challenge,
In 1999 the treasury ordered the insurance companies to lower the credit limits that they provided insurance agents at the
personal level. As a result the insurance companies were required to unify the entities in their computer systems to coincide with the actual entities behind them.

Solution:
Berele created the Alphonso system which absorbed all of the dispersed entities that exist in the organization’s diversified systems on different platforms, based on different data structures. The program unified all of them, improved the data structures and began managing the organizations pool of agents in one centralized system.

Following are the main components of the software :

Registration
This module consolidates a high level of company details and covers in full details of any associated subsidiaries. The registration module does have flexible capabilities that can help the user utilise and work with multiple companies at once as well as multiple users. It does get allocated to other individuals within the same organisation as well as the flexibility of sharing this information with other users. It does have summarised information in respect of the user activities as well as added value transactions including proposals listing by the various modes of transport.

Activities
Does cover full processes within the activities required. It has detailed steps that covers the sales process in full as well as links it directly to the diary of the individual sales person, as well as to many other functionalities including tasks, shipment forecast and sales records. The activities has high level of flexibility and does direct the sale person throughout the full process within agreed KPI's as well as agreed time frames.

Tasks
The task module does have comprehensive amount of information that can be included within it relating to the detailed forwarding industry. The tasks are flexible and a high level focus on appointments, as well as other activities related to the individual customer, as well as many pre-set tasks that can help or direct the sales person to the needed success.

Profiling
Comprehensive module that does cover forecasted information in respect of the activities by transport module. These activities are related directly to the transport modes as well as do allow other forecasting details which are entirely related to the activities of the individual customer as well as are linked to the KPI's provided to the individual user.

Opportunities
Opportunities are most detailed module that is entirely linked to the company's ERP or operating system and does cover complete forecasted and actual information related to the activities of the customer or the supplier of the relevant customer worked on. All is fully adoptable to the relevant activities within all modes of transport and has comprehensive level of information that helps the user ascertain on any steps of the sales process, as well as proactively taking action of existing accounts or lost accounts.

Sales Leads
Opportunities are most detailed module that is entirely linked to the company's ERP or operating system and does cover complete forecasted and actual information related to the activities of the customer or the supplier of the relevant customer worked on. All is fully adoptable to the relevant activities within all modes of transport and has comprehensive level of information that helps the user ascertain on any steps of the sales process, as well as proactively taking action of existing accounts or lost accounts.

Campaigns
Does cover individual HTML campaigns that can be sent from the system to their potential existing customers. Very high level flexibility and has the capabilities of running individual or large campaigns with full links to all the other relevant modules.   
Resource centre
Does provide a high level of flexibility for possibly attaching any relevant company standard presentations or any required literature.   
Optimization engine
High level engine that covers optimised information for active customers and non active customers. Does collect comprehensive relevant information from the web that relates to a higher level quality of information.   
Education centre
Does have the flexibility and the ability to include training requirements, manuals, presentations that people should get familiar with. This allows them to upgrade their level of knowledge and helps the company in standardising across the board their knowledge requirements.   

SOP
Does cover comprehensive information of the required standard operation procedures relating to the customers for all modes of transport. This is in line with the industry requirements and is fed directly by the ERP's or the operating system wherever it is required. Fully automated rulings that can be linked to operation as well as sales requirements.

Proposals
Fully integrated proposal module that has a high level of integrated pricing rulings all within the system. The rulings allow full comprehensive control of margins by the relevant management as well as allow preparing a proposal within a matter of minutes. The system includes a very high level of pricing for all mode of transport on a very high flexible environment.
